Sugar, salt and fat . With the development of technological advancements in instant food in the world, many food products are emerging that are often far from healthy because some food products now no longer pay attention to the health effects of people who consume them with high sugar content, high fat and high salt making these foods into food which is not healthy for consumption.

Unhealthy eating patterns like this if done over a long period of time will have an impact on the health of the body such as increasing cases of obesity and degenerative diseases, such as a health survey conducted by the health office in Indonesia proven that there is an increase in excessive levels of salt, sugar and fat consumption in urban communities every year because of the influence of food consumed.

Based on health research from 2009 to 2013 in Indonesia, data was obtained that the Indonesian people consumed excess salt, up from 24.5 percent to 26.2 percent while for Indonesian people who consumed excess fat rose from 12.8 percent to 40.7 percent so that the percentage increase in consuming unhealthy foods also increases and this needs to be watched out because it is also closely related to the increase in patients affected by the disease as a result of consuming salt, sugar and also excessive fat.

The limit of sugar, salt and fat consumption is safe per dayA simple example can be taken when someone consumes soft drinks which contain 2.5 tablespoons of sugar and also if added a piece of donut sprinkled with chocolate contains 1.5 tablespoons of sugar, then these two types of food and drinks meet the limit a person's maximum consumption of sugar per day is around 4 tablespoons or about 50 grams but of course in a day we will consume other foods so that it exceeds the maximum limit that has been suggested and this will have a negative impact on health for the long term.

Maybe many of us don't know yet how many people limit salt, sugar and fat in a day?

The Indonesian Ministry of Health provides a recommended list for people to consume the 3 foods per day, namely:

(To make it easier to remember the formula G4 G1 L5 can be used )

1. Sugar - 50 grams (4 tablespoons) per day
Sugar is indeed needed by the body as an energy source but if we consume it too much it will disrupt health such as causing obesity and type 2 diabetes, we can replace sugar consumption by consuming fresh fruits which are certainly healthier for the body than consuming sugar directly.

2. Salt - 2000 milligrams of sodium / sodium or 5 grams of salt (1 teaspoon)
Salt is also needed by the body to regulate the water content in the body but only in small amounts if consumed in excess will cause health problems such as hypertension to stroke, we also need to know in 1 tablespoon of soy sauce containing as much as 1/4 teaspoon and for 1 pack of instant noodles containing 3/4 teaspoon salt.

3. Fat - 67 grams (5 tablespoons of oil)
Fat is needed by the body as an energy reserve, fat in addition to being found in meat can also be found in fried foods, milk and others, we take for example 1 piece of flour fried chicken turns out to contain as much as 2 tablespoons of oil so we should limit the consumption of food fried and other fatty foods because if excessive it will risk causing diseases such as heart disease to cancer.

That is a safe limit for someone consuming foods such as sugar, salt and fat per day, it is better for us to now limit our consumption of these foods and make a healthy diet because if we are not ready someday there will be many diseases waiting, of course we do not want to experience this, right?
May be useful.
